From October 2008 to November 2009 a dedicated group of board members supported by a small group of agency executive directors has provided the energy and thoughtfulness required to bring this new organization into being.  Without them, Board Voice would not exist in any form.  This is an organization run by boards and for board members of social services agencies. On November 7, 2009, a new Board was elected to run the new organization.  The new Board members are:

• Gord Adams; Board Member, North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society
• David Duncan; Board Chair, PLEA Community Services Society of BC
• Alyson Hagan-Johnson; Board President, North Island Community Services Society
• Dawn Hemingway; Board Member, Intersect Youth and Family Services Society
• Terry Moist; Past Board President, John Howard Society of North Island
• Lyn Policha; Board Secretary, Options Surrey Community Services Society
• Brian Ruddell; Board Chair, North Peace Community Resources Society and Board Member, North Peace Community Housing Society
• Michael Sidhu; Board Vice President, Boys and Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria
• David Stigant; Board President, Penticton and District Community Resources
